Salad "Carolina"


Ingredients for making Carolina Salad

Cooking Carolina Salad:

Step 1: peel and chop fruits and vegetables.

We wash the apples and pears with running water and dry them, remove the peel with a knife for peeling vegetables. Then we cut the fruits and remove the core with the hardened base. Then small 2x2 cm, cut into cubes and pour into a prepared salad bowl. At lettuce leaves, cut the root leg, if any. We disassemble the bunch and wash each leaf separately with cold water. Very often the soil gets between the leaves, and when it creaks on the teeth - agree, it’s unpleasant. Shake the lettuce leaves and cut into ribbons 2-3 cm wide. Then the salad will be more lush and openwork. Peel the banana and cut into slices a half centimeter thick. Pour salad leaves with banana slices into a salad bowl. The matter is left to the small.

Step 2: preparing a gas station.

In a saucepan we measure out four tablespoons of sour cream. Dip lemon over boiling water and divide in half. Squeeze the half and squeeze the juice into a tablespoon. If you pour the juice directly into the saucepan, the dressing is too acidic. Therefore, it is better to measure in a spoon. Then mix thoroughly and the dressing is ready.

Step 3: season and serve the Carolina salad.

You need to fill the salad immediately before serving, otherwise bananas and apples will turn black from vinegar; it will not be very beautiful. Salad must also be prepared literally 5 minutes before a meal, because vitamins do not last long in cut fruits. Enjoy your meal!

Recipe Tips:

- - Salad can not be cut, but torn by hands, then it will seem more;

- - If you do not want to add sour cream, then reduce the amount of lemon juice to a teaspoon;
