Preparation of lean filling for pancakes:

This can easily be determined using a knife or a conventional fork. We pierce the largest piece in the center and if the improvised inventory easily enters the pulp, it means the vegetable is boiled and you can turn off the fire. If pierced with some effort, then cook another 5 -7 minutes. Pour the boiled vegetable with water into a colander, while the liquid is still useful to us, so we install a colander over any convenient container. And the potato slices are returned back to the pan.

Step 3: chop the onion.

Peel the onion and rinse under cold running water. Then rinse the knife in cold water and finely chop the onion into small pieces on a cutting board. Cold water is needed to make your eyes water less when cutting. Shredded component is transferred to a clean plate.

Step 4: prepare the carrots.

Next, we wash the carrots under running water and peel the skin from it. Then we rinse again and begin to rub the vegetable on a grater with large holes. Put the carrot chips in a separate plate and proceed to heat treatment.

Step 5: fry the vegetables.

We turn on the temperature of the stove to an average level, pour a little vegetable oil into the pan and put it on the burner. Then put the chopped onion in the heated fat and fry it for 2 - 3 minutes until soft and light golden color, periodically mixing with a kitchen spatula. Next, add carrot chips and fry vegetables together 2 - 3 minutesso that the carrot has time to soften. After that, turn off the heat, and rearrange the pan to another burner.

Step 6: prepare mashed potatoes.

Armed with a crush, we grind the potato slices in mashed potatoes, adding the water that remained after cooking. The mass should not be very thick in consistency, but also too thin.

Step 7: mix the lean pancake stuffing.

In the resulting mashed potatoes, spread the fried vegetables and mix the contents until smooth. Then add salt to taste and you can lay the filling in lean pancakes.

Step 8: serve the lean filling for pancakes.

Before serving in an even layer, grease our filling with the entire pancake area and fold it with a triangle or turn it into a roll, or form an envelope.
